What to do when… For Schools

Dealing with substance use issues in schools can be daunting, confronting and challenging. Many experts speak of implementing a whole school approach to ensure students feel supported during  their difficult times. One way to achieve this is to have expert trainers offering drug and alcohol education to school staff, parents, the community and most importantly, to young people themselves. By bringing in an external expert a school allows evidence- based information and professional guidance to be shared throughout the school community.

The Centre for Youth AOD has created evidenced based schools drug education sessions for School Staff, Parents and Communities and Students, for more information please speak with our Training Team.
